isolated rooms in the basement of the studio for full band live-tracking amp isolation

easily accessible via cta (belmont 77 bus)
“what more could you need?” - John Vanderslice
occasionally you may hear a fire truck. it has never ruined a take or been an issue in tracking but in fairness I mention it
upright piano available for use in the studio, please let me know in advance if you want to use it so I can have my tuner touch it up the day before you come in
I can work out of a number of commercial studios in the city if you’d like to work with me as an engineer/producer but this studio doesn’t particularly suit your practical needs (i.e. if you wanted to make a classical solo piano record, I would take you to a studio in town with a pristine grand or mini grand and likely hire my piano tech to be there).

Other: a whole lot of aux percussion. House drum kit is a C&C player date that I like pair with a particularly great set of pearl toms - highly recommend using it for your session. Also have a Ludwig Supraphonic snare, cymbal stands/hardware, various beaters. Drummers should bring their own cymbals - if you don’t have great cymbals please borrow or rent from someone in town to bring with you to your session, good cymbals make a big difference. Backline is limited so make sure to have your instruments set up in advance - borrow or rent great amps/guitars if you don’t like the ways yours sound, etc. and things will turn out better for it.
